A teacher is someone who inspires. She makes you want to learn. A teacher is someone who applauds. His praise students want to earn. A teacher is someone to respect. Her dedication sets her apart. A teacher is someone to admire. He’s compassionate, funny and smart. A teacher is someone who explains. She makes things easier to comprehend. A teacher is someone very special, Who is a faithful mentor and friend.

Teacher, You’re Number One! By Julie Spann
I thought that I would hate your class; Work only hard enough to pass. I never was much good at mathI’d always struggled in the past. But in that first week of schoolI saw that you were really cool. Somehow you made math seem fun. With me that makes you number one! You truly put my mind at ease. And then I started to believe, That I could do this if I tried. So all my doubts I brushed aside. And when I aced that first testI knew that I was truly blessed, To have an awesome teacher like youWho makes math fun, and simple too!
